All good intentions
Become mired in status quo.
There is no progress.

 Everybody has an arc

Everybody has an arc;
Everybody has a spark.
Everybody moves from sperm and egg,
To a creature with arms and legs.

You might be a famous movie star.
You might not know who you are.
You might be a serial killer.
You might be the thrilla from manilla.

Everybody has an arc.
Sometimes light, sometimes dark.
You have a purpose whether you know it or not.
We all have a purpose.

Always be grateful.

I'm always grateful.
Forever grateful is law.
There's no higher truth.

 I hold her high above

 

I hold her high above.
She doesn't know my love.
She is high on a pedestal.
With choirs celestial.

She is truly an ideal.
A love, a partner, a meal.
I don't know how to tell her.
Ask her would she wear my sweater.

I'd keep her warm.
She has perfect form.
I don't even know if she farts.
And yes she has got smarts.

This girl is a beauty.
I feel it is my Duty.
To tell her how I feel.
But would she love me back for real?

Youth thinks it knows all.
Really knows next to nothing.
Grownups know they're dumb.
