In Captain Beefheart.
He speaks from another plane.
Another galaxy.

I admire his vision.
His brilliant lyricism.
The Captain is without peer.
Though he was just a visitor here.

He challenges norms.
That's for sure.
Captain Beefheart is a freak.
Totally unique.

Sonic Youth.
They know the truth.
With their noise and confusion.
They know it's all an illusion.

I am listening to Goo.
And I don't know what to do.
Because I am so turned on.
I could almost say yes to anything.

Sonic Youth are the cool thing.
They always know what to bring.
They are oblivious and real.
They actually make me feel.
