It is harder to like someone than it is to love them

It is harder to like someone,
Than it is to love them.
We kind of love our enemies.
But we can never like them.

Love is about challenge.
As much as it is about peace.
We all love ourselves.
Whether we admit it or not.

Liking is the litmus test.
Most folks do not pass.
We love our friends.
For their flaws as much as for their success.

 He is not the reliable witness

He is not the reliable witness.
Because he is deep down in the thickness.
If he had integrity,
It would be in the 3rd or 4th degree.

He is offensive and a real prick.
Nothing good to say about him.
He is a master manipulator.
I do not mean that as a compliment.

This loathsome human being
Almost prevents me from breathing.
His self-interest is palpable.
His integrity laughable.

But that son-of-a-bitch
Pulls the strings.
And all of his admirers sing
His praises. To their detriment.

I love to rent library books

I love to rent library books.
But I don't have time to read em.
But I appreciate the connection.
With America's freedom.

Hell yes I am grateful!
In the land of the faithful.
That I can take out a book
For free with little scrutiny.

There is no greater moral.
We don't have to quarrel.
We are privileged and blessed.
In the land of dispossessed.

We live in a mighty nation.
We have always took victims.
To obtain our freedoms.
But we always somehow beat em.


























We have less censorship than most.
 Put that on your toast.
I am goddamned grateful.
My own kind of faithful.

1984: we are living there I swear.
It's all truth or dare.
And nothing is fair.
1984 is here.

We got a mad despot.
With a lot of hate.
And a rage on for enemies.
And only loyalty to his personal plate.

I am enraged and offended.
That man should be reprehended.
The head of state is a reprobate.
But he has a lot of friends.

But his friends are disposable.
Please God let him be disclosable.
The head of state has no integrity.
The head of state is a pretender.

1984 means disinformation.
1984 is a skewed state
Of obfuscation.
The current state of our nation.















He pulls out a rabbit
Yeah but he is a 





We live in the presence of a behemoth.
Who smells like a pestilence.










1984 who could ask for more
What we should all deplore.
But don't we all live in this space.
