I am soul searching,
Due to doom emerging.
From a corrupt sham.
That never seemed this bad.

We have a leader in chief.
Who challenges every beef.
That does not make him sovereign.
But that man has no core belief!!

We have a despot with no restraint.
We have a nation in trouble.
Where soon we won't be able,
To make complaint.

I truly do not know the answer.
But this administration is a cancer.
On our republic and our democracy.
This man's term is pure hippocracy.

I can't stop being fearful.
And shedding tearfuls.
How far we have gone down.
I am truly forlorn.

Learned his lesson, Not.
He will be the new despot.
The dark side in him.

It's a sham and a shame.
A rigged corrupt game.
Republicans are sycophant.
To the worst I can name.

If the Republican senators had any heart.
It would be a start to correcting wrongs.
But those Republican senators.
Sold democracy out for a song.

Their consciences secure in their purses.
Our Constitution now needs hearses.
The state of the union worsens.
'Make America great' means increase the hate.

At this mockery of a trial.
They proceeded to defile.
The Constitution for supper.
While the American people suffer.

There was no balance.
But they all got their checks.
They know how to genuflect
To the man who directs.
