Thanksgiving Poem

I am thankful for the bountiful food.
I am thankful for the festive mood.
I am thankful for family and friends.
I am thankful and I make amends.

I am thankful that I have my honey.
I am thankful that she thinks I'm funny.
I am thankful that the planet is not ruined.
I am thankful that love is brewing.

I am thankful that the sky is still blue.
I am thankful for every flower that grew.
I am thankful for she who understands.
I am thankful to take her hand.

I am thankful that there is no worse threat.
But sadly we're not there yet.
There is chaos and mayhem.
Can I get an amen?
