Disingenuous is the word of the day

Disingenuous is the word of the day.
Disingenuous is the card the President plays.
Disingenuous is the sycophantic Trump worshipers'
Reason to genuflect every single day.

We know the President did it.
But the Republicans try to deflect.
And lie and misdirect.
Call it unfair. Liar liar pants on fire.

That is their only defense.
To not have accountability.
Nor integrity or humility.
Even Nixon did not suppress.

It's a big stinking mess.
They dropped a bomb on us.
Whoever smelt it dealt it.
That's their only defense.

Disingenuous. Mendacious.
Maybe I'm naive for wanting to believe.
But this administration is the worst we could conceive.
When it comes to morals they are shameless.
